- Youth Participatory Action Research to Prevent Community Violence among Black Youth (YPAR as Violence Prevention)
- Community Based Participatory Action Research for Injury and Violence Prevention (CBPAR Course)Duties:Duties will include the development and execution of qualitative research protocols for the Economic Policy to Prevent Firearm Violence study.
- The postdoctoral fellow will work with the research coordinator for the study to recruit and schedule interviews as well as the day-to-day operations of the semi-structured interviews, including consenting and enrolling participants.
- The postdoctoral fellow will coordinate and supervise student interviewers and qualitative data analysts.
- For the YPAR as Violence Prevention study they will support implementation of the YEAH intervention and be responsible for co-facilitating YEAH groups, assisting in data collection, presenting preliminary findings to the Community Action Board for feedback, and supervising MPH student interns coding and analyzing of the qualitative data for YEAH photovoice projects under the supervision of Dr. Woods-Jaeger.
