- Posting Summary We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to join the Max Tischfield lab.
- Our research revolves around two key areas: (1) understanding circuit mechanisms and the neuropathogenesis of Tourette syndrome and related conditions (OCD, ADHD, ASD) using genetic mouse models; (2) the development and functions of brain waste clearance systems, specifically understanding the development, integration, and maintenance of meningeal lymphatic vessels with the glymphatic system.
- Our lab combines multiple approaches including human/mouse genetics, mouse behavior and operant conditioning, slice patch clamp electrophysiology, in vivo imaging, and computer vision as part of a collaborative, multi-PI team setting.

- A proven record of accomplishment with mouse genetics, histology, rodent stereotaxic brain injections, electrophysiology, optogenetics, and/or mouse behavior is preferred.
