- This position is responsible for verifying, comparing, and matching the service order and seal numbers with containers and cargo according to stow plan before loading or discharging from vessel.
- Must have a minimum of one (1) year experience in the ocean transportation industry, as shipping and receiving clerk inspecting the handling, storage, and stowing of cargoes, including direct discharge and yard load-out of steel and aluminum cargoes.
- Follow stow plan, created by Port Captain, when loading and discharging cargo and containers from vessel
- Perform direct discharge and yard load-out of steel and aluminum cargoes, including filling out dock receipts and maintaining a running tally of discharged and shipped cargoes.
- Coordinate with Foreman and Clerk-in-Charge (CIC) of the placement of containers and cargo on the vessel
