- Develops detailed project plans, task lists, and timelines for the clients’ board to ensure completion of a variety of administrative and strategic initiatives within the pool administration department coordinating effectively across multiple departments.
- Organizes board meetings and client retreats including securing meeting locations, negotiating contracts, and scheduling travel/catering; travels to meetings and interacts with clients, governing boards, and vendors; coordinates all on-site meeting activities and takes minutes (in accordance with the Ralph M. Brown Act requirements when applicable).
- Initiates timely state filings for financial statements, budgets, Statement of Facts, contractual agreements, conflict of interest, and certificates of insurance renewals; gathers, coordinates, and analyzes underwriting data including financial information, payroll, census, etc.
- Compiles and analyzes information to make recommendations on the formulation of policies and procedures; researches and provides accurate interpretation of pertinent state regulations and laws governing self-insured programs.
