- Carries out regular updates to appropriate Quality Control and Quality Assurance test databases and spreadsheets and provides report summaries or analyses as needed.
- Understands and works within Union labor Proper reporting on accidents/incidents Ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures, and standards (ASTM, CSA, MQO, internal targets, and limits) Follow-up on out-of-spec material and corrective actions Provide “troubleshooting” guidance and advice, for various customers both internal and external.
- WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Education: High school diploma or equivalent Additional Education Preferred: Bachelor's degree Required Work Experience: Experience in a materials production facility (sand, gravel, or other construction-related field) is required.
- Required Computer and Software Skills: Proficient computer skills, including MS Excel and Word Additional Requirements: Good communication and interpersonal skills coupled with an understanding of unions, planning, scheduling, and people management ability.
- Experience championing safety culture; demonstrable understanding of working safely with heavy equipment and energy sources Ability to recognize production problems and the experience to solve those problems Experience with quality sample testing preferred.
