- The AAP is looking for a dynamic Medical Director to enhance the programs track record of excellence and national leadership in comprehensive medical and psychosocial care for youth living with or at risk for HIV and LGBTQ youth and youth of color.
- This position requires the ability to set youth-focused clinical standards for all services to provide excellent medical care that integrates research into clinical practice, contribute to outreach, professional training and public health initiatives focused on improving the health outcomes of youth living with HIV, LGBTQ youth and youth of color.
- Candidate must have a strong balance of skills including, but not limited to; clinical experience in HIV treatment and prevention LGBTQ health, especially care for transgender youth; track record of success leading a multidisciplinary staff; academic productivity; and high level administrative skills such as managing program/grant deliverables and CQI initiatives, grant writing and reporting, and budget management.
