- The Contractor personnel shall display legible MTF-provided identification media on his/her outer clothing.
- These procedures involve assembling required equipment, locating an accessible vein, disinfecting the area, performing venipuncture, treating the puncture site, labeling blood containers, and managing patient or donor reactions.
- For venipuncture specimens, this entails the application of a tourniquet, selection of the proper vein, disinfection of the puncture site, and entering the vein using a sterile blood collection and vacutainer.
- Process patient demographic data into the laboratory automated data system (i.e. CHCS or manual system).
- Failure of the Contractor to correct validated complaints raised by the MTF staff and the Contracting Officer (CO) will be considered a failure to perform.
