- Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh is hiring a Pharmacy Intern to work in the inpatient pharmacy at the main hospital in Lawrenceville.
- This is a casual position with weekday hours of 5pm-9pm and every third Saturday and Sunday.
- The Pharmacy Intern will, under the general direction of the Pharmacy Manager and Director, and general supervision of the Staff Pharmacist, perform a wide variety of functions to support the provision of pharmaceutical care to patients at UPMC. These services will be provided in compliance with state and federal regulations, the Joint Commission Standards and the mission and policies of the hospital and departments.
- Intern shifts can include daylight, evening, weekend, and holiday requirements.
- Responsibilities: Assists the pharmacist with medication distribution, delivering medication, refilling automated dispensing cabinets, and exchanging emergency medication carts.
