- Under the direct supervision of the Health & Wellness Director/Coordinator and in harmony with the Christian values and purpose of the association of South Palm Beach County, the incumbent's primary responsibility is the development and execution of personalized exercise programs to members.
- The incumbent must demonstrate a personal commitment to the mission of the YMCA. Good communication skills, both written and verbal are essential, along with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with others as part of a team.
- This position requires good organizational and human relations skills, ability to adapt to changing environment, and knowledge of YMCA operational procedures, policies and programs.
- This position requires a current national certification (ACSM, NSCA, NASM or ACE) and CPR/AED certification.
- Attend all staff meeting and in-service training programs as implemented by Personal Training Coordinator and/or Health Wellness Director.
