- The Peer Recovery Specialist is a part of the Engaging Patients in Care Coordination (EPICC) team and will assist in addressing community opioid epidemic.
- The Peer Recovery Specialist will have the opportunity to work on community collaboration with varying treatment centers throughout the CHN service areas.
- A Peer Recovery Specialist should be prepared to outreach EPICC clients in the field, provide equitable service delivery to a diverse client population, complete data entry requirements in a timely manner, and manage agency-specific tasks.
- Follow monthly Recovery Specialist/Coach outreach schedule/plan; Note: specialist/coach may be required to work a maximum of 2 weekends per month (rotating days off during the week) with potential evenings and weekends and will be required to maintain a flexible schedule to ensure 24/7 coverage.
- Must self-identify as current or former consumer of behavioral health, substance use, or co-occurring disorder services; Previous lived experience with substance use and recovery required
