- Wellstar’s Behavioral Health Service Line is pleased to announce a new position for a Pediatric Clinical Psychologist.
- This clinician will support Wellstar’s expanded behavioral health services for the child and adolescent population in east Paulding County.
- The clinician will work with a multi-disciplinary team of child/adolescent psychiatrists, a pediatric neuropsychologist, and masters-level therapists – with an aim of helping to develop a comprehensive pediatric behavioral health program that meets the needs of the Paulding community.
- The pediatric psychologist will provide psychological testing and evidence-based therapy and intervention services to support the needs of children, adolescents, and their families.
- S)He should be equipped to conduct brief (and when necessary more comprehensive) psychological testing, using a variety of methods including tests of intelligence, child development, cognition (e.g., attention, executive functioning), personality (objective and projective), and social/emotional functioning.
