- The Salvation Army, an internationally recognized non-profit, faith based organization, has a job opening for a Payroll Coordinator at North Texas Area Command, located in Dallas, TX.
- Prepares, processes and verifies ADP paycards and Ceridian payroll records for all locations within North Texas Area Command; computes and disburses wages and salaries, deductions, taxes and other withholdings; posts payroll data and prepares routine reports to the Director of Finance; calculates and processes special checks; reviews, edits and makes corrections and adjustments as needed.
- Reviews new hires, terminations, class changes, and salary increases in Ceridian against paperwork to ensure changes were accurately processed by HR; reviews and verifies all employee information forms for exempt and hourly employees submitted by the Corps to ensure accuracy and completeness; processes bi-weekly transfer of payroll data to Ceridian.
- Reconciles monthly medical insurance premiums with payroll deductions established.
- Coordinates and provides training on Ceridian payroll software, Ceridian timesheets, and biometric timeclock for managers who perform payroll duties and new employees; processes requests for managers to review Ceridian timesheets and to add or delete mis punches.
