- The Patient Service Representative is responsible for a variety of administrative functions and patient care activities in support of the clinic to include - checking-in/out patients, collecting co-pays, verifying insurance, scheduling appointments and assisting clinical staff to provide support for the efficient delivery of patient care.
- The Patient Services Representative will ensure waiting area is always neat; answers phones to include scheduling/following up appointments; enters patient demographics into EMR. The Patient Service Representative is responsible for collecting co-pays, prepayment and any outstanding balances.
- The Patient Services Representative will work the assigned 'buckets' in the EMR.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of medical office experience preferred
