- General Summary: A nonexempt position whose function is primarily to answer inbound phone calls, aiming to resolve each caller’s request within one call.
- As needed, update and verify existing patient demographic and insurance information contained in Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Practice Management (PM) systems to ensure that accurate and complete information is entered in a timely manner.
- Create, assign, respond to, and manage tasks within the EHR and PM systems.
- As needed, send and receive patient medical records, obtain lab reports and imaging, acquire hospital notes, process referral information, etc.
- Maintain and update PAT cheat sheets in the forms folder, Genesys records, reference material, provider schedule templates.
