- Overview The Resource Technologist of Anatomic Pathology works under the supervision of the Laboratory Manager for Anatomic Pathology.
- The resource technologist will be responsible for insuring the Anatomic Pathology department is operating in compliance with all accrediting agencies’ standards.
- The resource technologist acts as a resource for patient caregivers, laboratory management, the medical director and the laboratory staff and serves as the technical supervisor in the absence of management.
- Licensure/Certifications: CT(ASCP), HTL(ASCP), HT(ASCP) or Equivalent, or meet CLIA criteria to perform high complexity testing.
- Experience: 3 years of experience as a cytotechnologist, histotechnologist, histotechnician, or molecular technologist in clinical setting preferred.
