- The Liberty University Police Department (LUPD) Parking Enforcement Officer is a civilian position and serves as a critical part of the LUPD Auxiliary Services Division Team. The Parking Enforcement Officer is responsible for maintaining adequate operation of the Liberty University parking infrastructure.
- The Parking Enforcement Officer is responsible for towing and/or ticketing illegally parked vehicles, identifying improperly marked parking areas, coordinating with the LU Sign Shop to ensure proper identification of all parking areas, maintaining adequate counts of parking space inventory, deploying temporary signs to denote parking areas and coning off parking areas needing to be blocked off for special events.
- Towing and/or ticketing illegally parked vehicles as well as enforcement of LU Decal policies.
- Parking logistics management.
- All other duties as deemed necessary and assigned by the Division Lieutenant.
