- Develops, manages and maintains a high quality and balanced visitor services program by providing opportunities in compatible wildlife-dependent recreation activities, as appropriate to the refuge, and the secondary uses and other programs that may support them.
- Develops and provides programs and facilities to enable visitors to have optimal wildlife observation/photography opportunities without undue impacts to wildlife or its habitat.
- Manages conflicts with wildlife and habitat management goals.
- Experience may include: Enforcement of park rules and regulations, conducting interpretive programs, and managing visitor center facilities.
- Major study: natural resource management, natural sciences, earth sciences, history, archeology, anthropology, park and recreation management, law enforcement/police science, social sciences, museum sciences, business administration, public administration, behavioral sciences, sociology, or other closely related subjects pertinent to the management and protection of natural and cultural resources
