- Note: Employees in these seasonal positions will work forty (40) hours per week, to perform seasonal work activities for a continuous period not exceeding one-hundred and twenty (120) calendar days.
- An employee in this class performs a variety of park security, custodial and maintenance activities at all Muskegon County Parks under the general supervision of higher-level park personnel.
- Park Rangers patrol areas to insure safe and orderly use of park facilities, process registrations and accept fees, groom beaches, clean camp sites and assist in skilled maintenance activities.
- An employee in this class may also be responsible for performing a variety of unarmed security functions at the County’s Heritage Landing cruise ship docking facility.
- Note: In order to be eligible to perform dock security functions, a Homeland Security screening must be passed and a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Card), must be issued.
