- Hunger Solutions Institute (HSI) in the College of Human Sciences seeks an Outreach Programs Administrator to coordinate program operations and support strategic development of local and regional food systems serving Alabama and the southeast.
- Coordinate day to day operations as primary contact of HSI's Hunger and Food Systems efforts, including developing and coordinating activities to accomplish work plan(s); answering daily emails from stakeholders, partners and interested partners; meeting with HSI Managing Director and other HSI Outreach Programs Administrators; collaborating and meeting with partners, interested partners, funders, etc.
- maintaining accurate and up-to-date records; participating in appropriate professional societies and groups; attending virtual and/or in-person local, state, regional, and national events; leading research group and advisory board in conjunction with HSI Managing Director.
- supporting grant application, grant making, and grant monitoring for businesses, enterprises, and others who support strategic development of local and regional food systems serving Alabama and the southeast; and
- Level I: Master's degree in Agriculture, Business, Supply Chain, Nutrition, Food Systems, Public Policy, Public Administration, Public Health, or a related field.
