- The Outreach & Prevention Coordinator assists with the planning, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-informed mental health and well-being education programs at the Center for Student Mental Health & Well-being (CSMHW).
- The coordinator's focus is on educating students on mental health and well-being, suicide prevention, peer support, and stress management while encouraging the student community to utilize resources and learn about habits that promote a healthy mindset.
- Collaborate with and assist the Assistant Director of Outreach with suicide prevention, screening events, and peer support programming (QPR, Mental Health First Aid, P.A.W.S., Peer Support Communities), and planning programming initiatives that meet overall goals.
- Coordinate and promote the BeWell Initiative, TELUS Health, The Green Bandana Project, and the P.A.W.S. Program while providing guidance and education for students interested in getting involved in initiatives on campus such as peer support communities.
