- Instrument/electrical preventative maintenance includes calibration/testing, installation, troubleshooting, and repairs on plant equipment including: process control equipment, motors, generators, batteries, transformers, regulators, valves, circuit breakers, disconnecting switches, analog/digital instrumentation, control relays, communication equipment, lighting and additional auxiliary equipment within the generating station and associated substations.
- Additional duties include vibration analysis, laser alignments, and oil analysis.
- Instrumentation and Controls/ preventative maintenance includes calibration/testing, installation, troubleshooting and repairs on plant equipment (hardware/software) including: the turbine control system (MicroNet), the balance of plant control system (Emerson - DeltaV), telemetry/SCADA (GE Harris, OSIsoft Pi), plant servers, networking, updates, and security.
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, wiring and schematic diagrams, and perform both internal and external switching and tagging for mechanical and electrical systems.
- Effectively utilizes computer maintenance management system (Maximo) to generate tasks, workorders, requisitions and maintain spare parts inventory.
