- The Dishwasher is responsible for supplying spotless, sanitized dishes for use in the dining room, clean kitchen utensils to the cooks, for operating the dishwashing machine using appropriate supplies and procedures, and ensuring adequate supplies of dishes and utensils at all times.
- The Dishwasher also ensures that kitchen floors and the dishwashing area are maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary condition.
- Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dishwashing machine.
- Change dishwater in dishwashing machine; monitor dishwashing machine and notify manager if machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperatures; assemble/disassemble dishwashing machine as needed.
- Set up or break down dishwashing area.
