IFS' Energy and Resources BPO team helps companies cut costs, consolidate, and capitalize on efficiencies gained through outsourcing. As a Accountant on the Revenue team, you will be responsible for multiple clients and processing incoming purchaser checks, monitoring check processing and performing monthly revenue closing processes. You may also support the training of new and current employees. Duties & Responsibilities:<ul><li>Perform revenue accounting functions for multiple clients in the oil and gas industry.</li><li>Perform production and regulatory reporting functions for multiple clients in the oil and gas industry.</li><li>Meet all state and federal reporting requirements</li><li>Prepare monthly reconciliations</li><li>General Ledger research</li><li>Prepare closing journal entries</li><li>Meet client deadlines and follow monthly calendar</li><li>Respond to owner inquiries</li><li>Prepare end of year 1099’s</li><li>Assists in training new and current employees on both day to day tasks and new processes</li></ul>Technical Ability:<ul><li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel and math </li><li>Must have the proven ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment</li><li>Must be able to work independently</li><li>Must be detailed oriented and organized</li><li>Typing and data entry; 10-key calculator</li><li>Must be willing to learn and be a self-starter</li><li>Solid technical, analytical and problem solving skills</li><li>Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Must be able to work within a team</li><li>Ability to learn and work with multiple software applications </li></ul>Qualifications <ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent relevant work experience is required</li><li>2-5years of experience in accounting is required</li><li>Oil and Gas experience is a plus </li></ul>Additional Information At IFS Energy and Resources you will work in a growing, global enterprise software company built upon committed and empowered colleagues who come to work knowing they are making a difference.
