- The Department's ongoing growth includes the restructure of Cardiovascular Sciences from a separate Department to a Division, support of the microbiome initiative, and the execution of clinical, research and education initiatives focused on emerging infectious diseases.
- The mission of the USF Health International is to create an interdisciplinary workforce across the USF Colleges of Medicine, Public Health, Nursing, and Pharmacy to enhance global health care by building the capacity of health systems worldwide through innovation, collaborative research, education and training.
- The primary purpose of the Office Manager is to provide diverse administrative and operational assistance, including classified and privileged assistance, to the Associate Vice President International for USF Health and Assistant Director of USF Health International as well as the office(s) overseen by the Assistant Director.
- Duties include monitoring and auditing all USF Health student international travel, managing study abroad programs across USF Health and assistance in processing general and clerkship agreements for USF Health, and processing reimbursements.
- Monitor and audit international travel registration for all USF Health student-related travelers, including all required documentation, passport and VISA information, and the progress and completion of pre-departure orientation and training requirements for group leaders.
