- The Occupational Therapist is responsible for the evaluation, planning, implementation, treatment and documentation of patient status for home care patients.
- Responsible to supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) and cosign their documentation when required.
- Identifies specific DME/orthotic needs of patient and refers to appropriate vendor.
- Observes, records and reports the patient's reaction to treatment and any changes in the patient's condition to the RN or RN Coordinator or Team Supervisor.
- Reports routinely every 30 days to RN, RN Coordinator or Team Supervisor.
