- Position Summary This recruitment will be used to fill up to eight part-time (a maximum of 24 hours per week) Berry Crop Student Assistant positions for The Northwest Berry Program at Oregon State University (OSU).
- The Northwest Berry program at Oregon State University provides statewide research on production and management of berry crops, including blueberry, blackberry, red and black raspberry, strawberry, and other small fruits.
- The overall goal of the research is to provide science-based support tools to foster productivity, quality, and resiliency of small fruits systems.
- The Berry Crops Research Program is recruiting up to 8 students who will assist in the harvest and maintenance of various berry crop fields.
- All positions are located at the North Willamette Research and Extension Center (NWREC), Aurora, OR. Position Duties 100% of duties will consist of picking berries, assisting with machine harvest, fertilizing plants, mowing, pruning, planting, hoeing or weed pulling, and recording data.
