- The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is responsible for the daily management of assigned patients on the hematology oncology inpatient service, to include general hematology-oncologic patients, such as those admitted to receive chemotherapy, fever and neutropenia, sickle cell pain crisis, or those requiring a stem cell transplant.
- The APP is responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management, education, consultation, and health promotion and care coordination for patients and families.
