- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, Breast Care ProviderFox Chase Cancer Center is seeking an Advance Practice Provider, to join the surgical breast service for management and care of breast patients.
- The Breast Care Adult Oncology Nurse PractitionerPhysician Assistant (APNPA) assesses, diagnoses, prescribes therapies, and manages the benign breast patient's and breast cancer patient's diagnosis, treatment, and post-treatment follow up through survivorship.
- The Breast Care APNPA will also participate in drain care management and removal, assessment and management of wound issues, and shall be responsible for assuring that patients receive optimal and timely education, treatment and support.
- The candidate should be licensed as a professional nurse in Pennsylvania, and licensed as a CRNP in Pennsylvania with AOCN or ANP Certification.
- RNFA or SA (Surgical Assistant) certification is optimal but the institution will pay for such certification if operative time becomes integrated into the practice.
