- Incumbent will care for patients who have undergone surgical operations/procedures: general surgery; eye, ear, nose and throat; orthopedic; obstetrical and gynecological; thoracic vascular, genitourinary interventions, endoscopy and procedural sedation etc.
- Independently manages patients receiving sedation/analgesia/anesthesia to include anatomy, physiology, pharmacological modalities, cardiac arrhythmia recognition, and complications related to adverse effects of procedural sedation and general anesthesia.
- Measles and Rubella immunization required for selectees born after 1957 and seasonal influenza immunization is required for all staff working in Indian Health Service health care facilities.
- Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; social).
- Experience in the operation and monitoring of specialized equipment such as cardiac monitors, arterial lines, central venous and Swan-Ganz pressure lines, fiber optic laryngoscopes, auto transfusion units, and specialized operating room and patient care beds.
