- I will have about 12-14 open shifts of 12 hours (7pm to 7am) including weekdays and weekends that I need to fill.
- The work flow typically entails attendance to deliveries, fielding any prenatal consults, responding to any emergencies for babies already in the NICU, and admitting and helping manage and stabilize any new patients, including some procedures.
- Endotracheal intubation, delivery room resuscitation, umbilical lines, PICC lines, PIVs, peripheral arterial lines, thoracocentesis and chest tube placement, lumbar puncture.
- ability to provide anticipatory guidance and counseling to parents of NICU babies
