- REPORTS TO: Production Manager DIRECT SUPERVISOR(s): Production Team Leader II INDIRECT SUPERVISOR: Production Line Lead Job Summary: The Mixer is responsible for ensuring that all mixes and grinds meet acceptable quality, yield standards and are in line with the production schedule.
- Must be able to comply with and follow all food safety, and third-party certification policies (SQF, Gluten-Free and Organic, ).
- Method of training: On-the-job training General Job responsibilities - Orientation and on the job Job Description Review Technical Training (machinery) Production, Product Quality, and sanitation processes and procedures Reports (Reporting, verification, and accuracy of information) Food Safety Practices & Policies (e.g., HACCP, Food Safety, GMP's, Food Fraud/Defense, Allergens, Organic, Gluten Free) Injury & Illness Prevention Program.
- Plant Safety and Emergency Procedures OSHA Required Safety Programs LOTO -Lock Out/Tag-Out Program Hazard Communication and Safe Chemical Handling Forklift and Pallet Jack Training & Certification Essential Functions/ Duties and Responsibilities: Mixer (Flour) Must be able to identify and understand the requirements for preparing the batch using the appropriate recipes.
- Coordinate with the machine operator to agree that the 1st mix of every product is the correct dough consistency prior to removing the mix for the bowl.
