- Primary function of this night-time intensivist position working for the Hospitalist Service is to provide comprehensive care to Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) patients in collaboration with the internal medicine house staff, ICU based hospitalists, and the director and operations manager of the Hospitalist Service and the director of the MICU. Due to the size and complexity of the MICU there is a need for supervision of the house staff, hospitalists as well as direct patient care.
- 2.2 Participates in continuing medical education (CME) activity annually that meets all medical staff reappointment criteria and improves quality of care provided by the service
- 3.2 Follows all Yale-New Haven Hospital patient safety policies and procedures for healthcare providers
- 4.1 Follows all NEMG and YNHH policies and procedures
- Participates in continuing medical education (CME) activity annually that meets all medical staff reappointment criteria and improves quality of care provided by the service.
