- Merrill College at the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) invites applications for an ongoing pool of lecturers who may be appointed to teach a course or courses that contribute to one or more of the college's long-standing interests.
- Applicants with the following qualifications are strongly encouraged to apply: (1) professional experience in social justice or public service organizations or professional experience in arts or media production (e.g., theater, film, journalism); and (2) university-level teaching experience as instructor of record or teaching experience with courses that are organized around fieldwork, service learning, or experiential education.
- M.A/M.S. degree (or equivalent foreign degree); or five years of professional experience in a relevant area such as journalism, non-profit management, field program coordination, film production, educational administration, etc.
