- General Description: The Mental Health Therapist provides individual and family therapy to children and their families in an office setting.
- Clients are self-referred or referred through partnerships with local schools/Head Starts, primary care physicians, hospitals, or ODHS Child Welfare or Self Sufficiency.
- Options accepts both commercial insurance and Oregon Health Plan. Required Qualifications: Masters or doctorate degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field.
- Must be able to qualify as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) and be eligible for registration as an associate (Social Work Associate, Professional Counselor Associate, Marriage and Family Associate), a Psychology Resident or licensure in the State of Oregon.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in play therapy, sand tray, or other child-based therapies.
