- The MH Professional I provides trauma-informed family and individual mental health services to family members according to the Eco-Systemic Structural Family Therapy (ESFT) model within the ARC framework of understanding trauma.
- Psychoeducation resources will be delivered to family members including among others: trauma awareness, mindfulness, emotion awareness, arousal regulation, developing healthy relationships, and competent daily functioning.
- Conducts family evaluations, including in-home observation and interviews in order to assess for trauma exposure, family structure, relationship dynamics, parenting skills and family member support systems.
- Ensures competency in providing mental health services including trauma informed, trauma competent treatment within the ESFT model to program's patient population(s).
- Provides telephone and in-person crisis intervention to families during both scheduled and non-scheduled work hours to ensure crisis services are available to those in need.
