- Responsibilities of a Medium Voltage Mechanical Design Engineer: Develop and revise mechanical approval and manufacturing drawings, encompassing intricate sheet metal fabrication details and comprehensive Bill of Materials.
- Conceptualize and design sheet metal enclosures for electrical equipment, adhering to ANSI/NEMA standards for installations both indoors and outdoors.
- Qualifications for a Medium Voltage Mechanical Design Engineer : Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 3 years of experience in sheet metal electrical enclosure design and fabrication, OR an Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology with the same level of experience.
- Familiarity with designing sheet metal enclosures for electrical equipment, coupled with a sound understanding of UL and ANSI/NEMA standards governing metal-clad and metal-enclosed medium voltage switchgear installations, both indoors and outdoors.
