- St. Jude Children's Research HospitalThe Department of Radiation Oncology at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is seeking a medical physicist to join its faculty.
- The department currently supports four full-time medical physics faculty, six clinical physicists, four dosimetrists, two medical physics assistants, a dedicated linear accelerator engineer, and information systems and research staff, inclusive of research scientists, post-doctoral fellows, and clinical research associates.
- The department includes five full-time pediatric radiation oncologists, dedicated nursing and radiation therapy teams and child life specialists.
- There is one linear accelerator with image-guidance and multiple imaging platforms (spectral CT, PET/CT, 1.5T MR and 3.0T MR) dedicated to treatment planning and on-treatment assessment.
- The Proton Therapy Center facility includes a synchrotron, high-energy beam transport, two gantry rooms and a fixed beam room.
