- A Sleep Technician works under the general supervision of the Section Chief of Respiratory, medical director or designee to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders.
- Assigned Duties but are not limited to: Perform sleep monitoring (polysomnography) on individuals with possible sleep apnea or arterial desaturations secondary to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease or other medical conditions.
- Assist in the long-range planning for equipment needs for the Sleep Center.

- Ability to summarize and report polysomnographic data in narrative form.
