- Note: Methods and processes include manual machinery, CNC machinery, assembly, product testing, powder paint, wet paint, material storage and handling, shipping and receiving, plant and office processes and procedures.
- Contributes value added input in fixture and tooling designs to be used with machines in the manufacturing process, including programming cnc equipment and robotic welders.
- Provides support with inspection and quality related tasks to the shop floor as well as assists other machinists in resolving quality issues, including using the CMM or other inspection equipment when required.
- Confers with manufacturing department, engineers, production personnel, lead persons, supervisors, or others to resolve machining, assembly, or other manufacturing problems.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of algebra, geometry and trigonometry.
