Please note that due to Department of Defense contract requirements, U.S. CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED Position Title: Manufacturing Engineering Quote Analyst Job Purpose: To provide accurate, detailed and professional labor estimations.
- Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for Manufacturing Engineering’s inputs in the preparation and coordination of Request for Quotations (RFQ's) for labor estimates for CCA’s, subassemblies, top level assemblies (LRU’s) and services based on quote requirements received from various departments within the organization (i.e. POD, Program Management, Sales).
- Review Bill of Materials (BOM) to identify component types and processes required for assembly Review and understand customer Technical Data Packages (TDPs) to include assembly drawings, specials notes/instructions/ and special processes Analyzes quotations for content in addition to preparing complete labor costs analyses within Manufacturing Engineering Department.
- Defines Manufacturing Engineering’s labor estimates, NRE, Capital needs, clarifies discrepancies and determines the structure of BOM used in labor estimate.
