Day Shift M-Th 4:30a-2:30a What You Bring to the Team: <ul><li>A manual machinist must possess extensive knowledge of conventional machinery.</li><li>The ability to set-up machine tools and run first parts safely and accurately.</li><li>Read and understand blueprints including geometric dimensioning.</li><li>Have the ability to do shop math and use trigonometric equations.</li><li>Capability of using a scientific calculator.</li><li>Able to perform set-ups accurately and make special tooling when required.</li><li>Has knowledge of proper use of all necessary measuring tools.</li></ul><ul><li>Read and sign off on JSAs pertaining to your job assignments.</li><li>Must follow written and verbal instructions.</li><li>Must be able to read and comprehend MSDSs and JSAs.</li><li>Must be able to see and hear well enough to perform necessary machining or fabrication practices.</li><li>Have the ability of lifting and moving heavy parts.</li><li>Maintain machinery oil and coolant levels as required.</li><li>Perform miscellaneous duties and be flexible and willing to assist in all other areas.</li><li>Follow procedures on oil & chip disposal.</li><li>Use safe working practices and maintain clean work area.</li><li>Report any unsafe or hazardous conditions to your immediate supervisor.</li></ul> Preferred Qualifications: <ul><li>Completion of a machinist apprenticeship program or a technical certificate</li><li>Knowledge of SAP</li></ul> Safety: <ul><li>Lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.</li><li>Must be capable of performing repetitive tasks.</li><li>Must have to ability to operate various hand tools including pneumatic, electrical, and manual </li><li>Ability to safely climb stairs and ladders throughout the workday.</li><li>Ability to complete tasks associated with various hot works.
