- The Managing Director of Healthy and Equitable Communities will co-lead a new project for HRiA, which was selected to manage the Culture of Health Prize (the Prize), a national initiative of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
- The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation has selected HRiA to increase the programs reach to a range of communities; visibility with important audiences including policymakers, media, health equity-focused networks; and impact on changing narratives on what constitutes a healthy equitable community.
- Specifically, this position will be primarily responsible for managing client engagements with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, providing oversight for the overall workplan for the leadership and management of the Prize program, supporting relationships with our partner organizations, spearheading the application and selection cycle for the next iteration of Prize program, and leveraging the program nationally.
- Additional responsibilities are detailed further below and include financial and budget management, establishing external partnerships with national networks, and embedding and further bolstering this work in our organizations approach to Community Health and Racial Equity Grantmaking.
- Coordinate closely with an internal team comprised of co-Managing Director, Program Officer, and Program Coordinator positions, while collaborating with an internal HRiA team of colleagues from the Health Equity, Research & Evaluation and other clusters.
