- KIPP NYC Public Schools is a non-profit network of 18 free, public charter schools in the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Manhattan.
- By regularly visiting the 18 KIPP NYC schools in Upper Manhattan, Bronx and Brooklyn and forging strong external partnerships, the Managing Director of Development drives the success of KIPP NYC’s development program.
- The Managing Director of Development directly manages the Associate Director of Foundation and Corporate Giving, the Manager of Data and Prospect Research, and works closely with the Director of External Affairs, the Senior Associate for External Affairs, and reports to the Chief of External Affairs.
- Direct staff in proactively identifying cultivation opportunities among funders in respective portfolios and analyzing prospect likelihood
- Encourage close collaboration across the External Affairs team (marketing, advocacy, Student Recruitment and Enrollment and After School) and contribute to building a positive, strong team culture
