- K2 Integrity is looking for a managing director for our Financial Crimes Risk Management practice with deep subject-matter expertise and experience in anti-money laundering/combatting the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT) issues, specifically in credit card networks, payments, and the payment processing space.
- The managing director will be charged with leading and working with cross-functional teams on diverse projects, including program and risk assessments to understand, assess, and address the financial crime compliance risks of card programs in high-risk jurisdictions, focusing on risks related to money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions violations or evasion, bribery and corruption, and the financing of proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.
- The ideal candidate will have experience with U.S. (e.g., Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering Act, USA PATRIOT Act, and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act) and international AML/CFT and anti-bribery and corruption (ABC) regimes, as well as global standards from organizations such as the Financial Action Task Force (FATF).
- The candidate will also possess strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to understand financial crimes compliance risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Develop, draft, and review AML/CFT and ABC policies and procedures for banks, money services businesses, FinTech and payments companies, cryptocurrency firms, corporations, and others to ensure consistency with legal obligations and regulatory expectations
