- The Maintenance Technician position is a general Maintenance position and an individual contributor position responsible for performing clean up, general maintenance, writing work orders, troubleshooting machinery and having knowledge of facility level mastery of hydraulic systems and pneumatic systems.
- Incumbent must be able to demonstrate fabrication of fixtures using welding, cutting and brazing.
- This person is also responsible for maintaining and repairing plant equipment, including pneumatic and mechanical systems, clutches, brakes, power transmission components, combustion engines, and electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Test, inspect, repair, troubleshoot and re-assemble basic plant equipment, components, and systems including but not limited to overhead bridge cranes, hoists, gear boxes, forklifts, company vehicles, pneumatic and mechanical systems, power transmission components, combustion engines, boiler systems, and electrical and hydraulic systems
- General welding (can weld efficiently using stick welder) with the ability to lead and teach others in stick welding and detailed fabrication
