- They will assist in monitoring building system operations and performance which may utilize skills in plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating and cooling.
- Desired Competency, Experience and Skills: HS Diploma or GEDTechnical, vocational or on-the-job training in one or more of the following areas: HVAC, electrical, mechanical, process controls, or plumbing.
- At least 5-8 years experience in commercial building maintenanceFamiliar with fire/life safety equipment/procedures.
- Must have valid, clean driving record and ability to Adhere to Use of Company Vehicle policy/proceduresExcellent customer service skills; ability to successfully interact with tenants/vendors/contractorsFamiliarity with blueprints and code requirementsUniversal CFC Certification a plusAbility to communicate effectively and clearly with tenants, vendors, employees and visitors.
- HVAC equipment including: RTU (roof top unit), SCU (self-contained unit), Chillers, Boilers, PumpsHVAC control systems- knowledge of DDC (direct digital controls) and/or Pneumatic Systems Plumbing systems including residential and commercial Electrical systems: Resetting breakers, scheduling IR StudiesLighting systems and lighting retrofitsGeneral building systemsKnowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Software)Knowledge of sprinkler systems, fire panels, and fire pumps.
