- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform corrective and preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, and adjustments to all systems, subsystems, and components of an electronic, mechanical, electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic nature.
- Inspection, repair, and maintenance of train car subsystems, such as the propulsion system, brake system, pneumatic system, door operations, couplers, structural system, signaling, onboard circuit boards, communication, and electrical and lighting systems.
- Inspection, repair, and maintenance of wayside subsystems, such as the power rail, guide structure, signaling, guideway switches, communication, and electrical and power distribution systems.
- Proficient in English High school diploma or equivalent 2 years of combined mechanical and/or electrical work experience in a relevant field (Formal education may be substituted for experience) Valid Class C Driver’s License Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, subsystems, and components.
