- This includes planning the necessary resources in manpower and budgeting to accomplish site safety goals and monitoring the safety program and its effectiveness to ensure a safe workplace
- Interface with MSHA and other governing health and safety agencies at local and federal level as required
- Participate in the identification of training needs for assigned plant maintenance personnel and coordinate training
- Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field, Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5+ years of supervisory experience; industry background in heavy manufacturing related; mining, paper mills, steel plants, refining, utilities, refractory, heavy equipment fabrication, stone processing, cement plants industries preferred
