- A Work Program Coordinator provides technical and administrative assistance in planning, developing and coordinating maintenance and repair services programs for all facilities, appurtenant structures, grounds and equipment under the jurisdiction of a major City department; may provide technical and administrative assistance in planning, developing and coordinating new construction projects; and performs other related duties as required.
- There is one (1) vacancy with the Honolulu Police Department (HPD), Support Services Bureau, located in Honolulu.
- This position has the responsibility of managing the facilities of the HPD Headquarters at Alapai, as well as all other police facilities.
- The ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and contracts and a technical understanding of the operations of security systems, cabling systems, mechanical, electrical and electronic facility components, are factors that enable the building manager to plan, monitor and inspect the repair, maintenance and renovation of police facilities.
- Equivalent to graduation from a regionally-accredited four-year college or university with major work in business administration, public administration, civil or structural engineering, or a related field.
