- This work builds on extensive MRS sequence development to quantify metabolites linkedto oxidative stress, antioxidants, and brain energy metabolism and contributes to studies in Alzheimer's disease, multiple sclerosis, nutrition, and muscle metabolism.
- This position will develop analysis techniques for rigorous quantification of metabolic imaging signals measured using magnetic resonance imaging and spectroscopy (MRS) in collaborations with NIH-funded investigators.
- They will use their experience inMR technical development to create state-of-the-art methods to answer challenging biomedical and clinical questionsThis position requires a background in bioengineering, computing, chemistry, or physics (or related discipline) a good understanding of MR physics, techniques and signal processing, programming skills, strong analytical, problem solving, communication, and writing skills and a demonstration of organization and teamwork skills.
- This is a staff scientist position which is supported by Center funds.
